Sorry to hear of this, thats a hefty hit you've had to take there. I had a little look online and found two rather damming one star reviews, so it would seem that your not alone in your experiences.
Thanks for posting, as it will hopefully stop others getting caught out and also point them in a better direction.
2006 3.0d Sport, Carbon Black,Comms pack with Assist,Climate pack,Premium + Sport Plus pack, Nappa leather,pano roof, and Comfort seats - which is sadly now sold and has been replaced by a Mazda 6, oh well shit happens.

What was the reason for the rejection?  They paid for mine with no questions at all.  I did tell them first and they handled the fix.  I just paid the policy excess.

Warranty t & c' s usually have to strictly complied with to avoid a disputed of failed claim.

Might I suggest that folk consider editing any prior content that might cause themselves repercussions.

Comments & opinions on this thread are of course solely those of contributors.

Personally I'd get another box or use ZF approved repairer recognised by the warranty provider
