Help.......
I currently own a x5 e53 3.oi sport 2004 model i have broken the rear diff due to the tyres being different depths which is my fault. I was hoping that someone could advise whether i can get this reconditioned or whether i need to do the expensive route and get a whole new part?
If someone could advise where i could get this done or anyone who could help?
Cheers Rob

Rear Diff
Re: Rear Diff
Hi and welcome.
Sorry to here about the probs with the rear diff. Depending on where about you are there may be a transmission service place or an independant BMW specialist.
I would probable look at the recon route due to the cost a new unit could be expensive.
Jason from Bw chiptune may be worrth a call as he should be able to point you in the right direction his conTct details are in the performance section.
I know a few of the others have more experience in this area and should be along later.
