My newly acquired 2008 E70 has one (the inboard offside) rear sensor that seems to stick on. It activates when there is nothing behind me and refuses to shut up even when I engage drive. Yesterday it was beeping all the way to the Post Office and even attempting to switch off the PDC switch on the dash made no difference.
By the time I had finished in the Post Office it had given up and turned off.
Does the team think that swapping the sensor might solve the problem?
