Post by jason1872 » Wed Feb 19, 2014 4:03 pm

Hello all i'm having a problem with my rear pdc,i've listened to the sensors and none are clicking, the fronts are clicking but not working, when i put the car into reverse i get the long beep and the light flashes,i also took one of the rear sensors out and replaced it with a new sensor and that didn't click either, any help would be appreciated.
The car is a 2002 x5 3.0i sport

I have a similar problem with mine which I assumed was a dud sensor somewhere , but I haven't had chance to test them all yet , so not sure of the answer/cure as yet .

maybe an easy fix on my old AC Schnitzer there was dirt built up around the sensor (possible due to polishing it every week)

I sprayed some air to it and hey presto all sorted

worth a shot
