So i'm driving along when the check coolant light comes on. Given that I checked it yesterday I know its fine I pull over to find a trail of fluid along the road, steam billowing out of the bottom and engine bay of the car and vast quantities of fluid dripping from what seems to be the middle of the car.
I'm presuming I shouldn't drive the car home (about 12 miles) in its current state and that it is the coolant that has somehow emptied itself completely. Does anyone know why the clear liquid would be dripping from the middle of the car and not the front and what has likely happened?
Thanks
Rob
