TV is either via the cable (goes in-line on the TV module in the boot) or get an Indy to do it with their kit.
No build thread but if you search any key words and me as author you'll get something. Others have also posted on stuff I've done, like the PS2 (jeegnesh) or sub enclosure mods (x555).

had a go at the hidden menu, was titled "service menu" however it didnt allow me to change the display of nav or anything. i had a quick search, love the look of the led lights, defo fancy a set of the, along with upgrading exsisting bulbs to leds. i believe i need some sort of scanner thing to get the alarm to beep and the auto lock door features.
im concious that ive hijacked Johnny's thread. dont want a row on my 2nd day here! lol
hope you dont mind.

He won't (hopefully)!
Nav menu only if you are on v32 already.
LEDs are nice - I need some pointers from X5Sport to get a night shot. Subtle change...
LED bulb replacement is a bit dear but when you think about all the battery issues and the fact that 12 bulbs go off when you JUST unlock the car! There's gonna be some battery drain there! LED equivalents should be roughly an 8th of the power draw on the battery!
Alarm beep is Indy jobbie and if you can make the next meet, Jason may be able to do that and the TV-in-motion FOC! Oh and his remaps are great too!

Hi All,
Happy to say i updated my firmware from 24 to 32 this past weekend. Followed instruction from outpost to a tee and its all fine. Im not sure I like the perspective mode, you cant see street names in that mode which irritates me ( Im easily irritated btw...lol)
OTher then that not a huge difference Ive noticed tbh.

i like the idea of subtle changes, where abouts did you get your led's (tails and interiors) from? do some of them not throw up the bulb out message?
that would be handy! where abouts do you meet sanj?
stewie, how hard was it to do? do you havea link to the post you followed, might give it a bash myself.
cheers

The LEDs were from another forum member and yes they had the capacitor fitted. Otherwise you get the flickering!
Meets used to be in Bristol - that will have to change now. We need a new location - any suggestions???? Anyone?
Search xoutpost.com for the link.

Tv in motion doesn't work very well in motion as the tv signal keeps moving. It's ok for traffic jams though. I enabled mine with navcoder. Shame your not closer to Leeds it's a 5 min job
