constant beep front front gong

bought a lower foot bit of the dash other day, went out to fit it

so went out got  settled in and started to fit it , thought hmm, the wires to the gong are too short, then realised that one was tucked behind the sound proofing,  found another connector , plugged this into the gong aswell, and all I get is a constand beep from the gong ,

plus aswell , I have a few spare connectors in there that ive no idea what connects if anything?
any ideas I think the 2 that could go together are blue and white,
but the main thing is the constant beep??
oh its a blue wire disconnect it and the beep stops

This is from the WDS, which shows a total of 5 wires connected to the gong, but no solid blue wire. If its blue/white its T2, if its blue/grey, its PDC

"The electronic gong acts as an acoustic signal generator for the hour signal tone 1 (T1), the temperature warning tone 2 (T2), a warning signal tone 3 (T3) and the code signal tone 1 with tone 2. The signal lines for gong activation of tone 1 - tone 3 are used by the instrument cluster, however, they can be interrupted by the park distance signal tone 4 (T4). Tones T4 and T5 can be activated via further inputs at the gong, dependent on the vehicle equipment level. These acoustic functions cannot be triggered by the instrument cluster electronics (IKE ) but rather they are a functional part of other vehicle components.

The hour signal T1 reminds the user of radio news broadcasts or traffic announcements with three short "beeps" (1 kHz).
In the case of the temperature warning T2, one single gong (1 kHz) is triggered which warns the driver of low outside temperatures (ice hazard).

Warning signal T3 warns the user by means of a long tone (1 kHz), followed by the gong sounding. It acts as the acoustic signal for the light check module (LCM). The light check module (LCM) informs the instrument cluster that the acoustic signal has been triggered by an I-bus telegram (instrument bus).

The short code signal is triggered by the tone T1 and T2 (750 Hz). It indicates to the user that the programmed speed limit has been exceeded or it draws attention to a code function still active when starting."

Well , ive just been out in the dark n the rain to have a look , (before you say anything i work nights:))
the loose wires are as follows

blue/grey goes into connector T4 . this produces a constant beep
there are also

3 white and blue wires
green female connector
blue male connector
and a black male connector , theses are just loose  but inbuilt into the loom so ive no idea what these are
i know i have a fault with the pdc, on the car, not sure if its the pdc module thats faulty, as all the sensors are  "ticking"
but this beep is active the moment you  re attach the plug into the buzzer,
ignition on/off its just constant

You say the PDC sensors are ticking, but presumably the PDC is not working? Do you have front and rear PDC or just rear only?
