Flat Battery now tailgate wont open

Hi looking for a bit of advice,my battery was dead today and had to jump start it,but after jump starting the tailgate won't open with the outer release but will open with the key fob and will open with the centre console release button,the outer button was working fine till now as it was replaced in may.

Check the wires as they corrode & snap off , then  take it back to were you got it fixed !

Nothing to do with wires,needed another new switch/handle under warranty.

There is a single release strap on the inside of the upper tailgate door,
and if push comes to shove, the lower tail door can be opened from inside also by removing the trim panel..

The lower rear tailgate panel trim cover is to be unclipped/lifted along the edge nearest the release catch and then tilted / lifted away from the metal trunk door.
From there it is possible to poke about and release the latches each side to lower/release the panel..
