Caravan led light question

Post by TimX5 » Sat Sep 12, 2015 8:49 pm

Does anyone tow a caravan which has led lights , just wondered if they worked correctly with the towing electrics or the led lights  flickered.
I've got the dedicated electrics fitted from pfjones and I'm in the process of part exing my caravan and the new one has led lights , has anyone had any problems.

Caravan ones should be OK......

Having said that i have just upgraded my horse trailer to LED and had issues with them pulsing from bulb failure check...
Added a resistor in parallel with them all and stopped that..
150k ohm think they were...
If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....
Please note...
Anything I say is only from my personal experience and knowledge..
I don't assume to know everything, and know there is a lot I don't know..
But then I could be talking bollox.. O:-)

I've done a little research and sergent who do the caravan electrics do a module as a extra if the lights flicker on the van ,the module is dedicated to the tow car which is fitted in the caravan plug and play.
