Time to move on! Now selling

Post by Hoppy_70 » Mon Feb 22, 2016 11:29 am

New car ordered and moving on to a new F30 335d. This is now on eBay if anyone's interested, more pics avail if required.  http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/281941760111 comes with BMW approved used warranty until sept and has 77k (fbmwsh).

Good luck in the sale

Looks nice

Amazing how people bid on high cost item like this

Out of interest of the bidders has any actually viewed?

No, in my experience eBay users will view only if they win. It's not an issue, if a car doesn't fit description or looks dodgy then you walk away, same as any other sale.

Slightly better than auto trader in that respect as descriptions tend to be exaggerated there, whilst eBay are more accurate (on the whole).

I agree I like eBay as more descriptions and comms

Just surprised so many people willing to bid rather than ask a guide price or view

People do still ask, usually to see if you'll give it away!

As far as I am concerned bidders should bid to buy.....not view. They can view or cause an inspection before auction ends.

As for ebayers trying their luck on auctions. As a seller I would politelty make it clear.........bidding is to buy, reserve is not negotiable & auction will not end early in abscence of an accepted B.I.N. price or higher figure being secured.

Only if vehicle was grossly misdescribed with a significant affect on value would I re-negotiate or walk away as a buyer, (assuming no deposit issues).......Otherwise I would expect to receive a strike.

As for the car running in the ebay auction here.....I would expect it to receive some private & trade interest (being a historied, warrantied tidy 2 owner car with remaining AUC warranty & mileage under 100k).

GLWTS :)
