E70 wheels on e53

Post by toonarmy » Tue Mar 15, 2016 5:48 pm

I've asked before and know I need spigots but are the e70 19 inch wheels all the same size or narrower on front as my e53

Depends upon what wheel set you have.  You can have staggered or non-staggered.  Centre bore info is on here if you search.

hi do you know the style ? & if  they came of a Msport or Se version ?
I am running X6 wheels on mine at the moment E53 staggered but one of my mates has an E53 and has none staggered X6 wheels on that all his tyres are 255/50/19 .
Can you check the offset on the wheels you are buying as this is the main thing to check otherwise you may have to buy spacers which some insurance companies wont insure you with , also need spigot rings as the centre bores are 74.1mm on the X5 E70 compared with the E53 72.6 they will ensure that the wheels centre on the hubs and cost about £10 for four . If you Pm me I can send some pics of mine with the X6 wheels on they don't need spacers !
