F25 rear bumper guard

Post by Pinewood » Mon Mar 28, 2016 8:54 am

Has anyone fitted something like this to protect the paintwork on the top lip of the rear bumper.  I'm super careful when loading &  unloading luggage, but it's only a matter of time before teenage kids or a busy wife put some scratches in.

I thought about doing the same on my X6 but the Dealer suggested a sheet of clear film instead.  Went with the suggestion and even after 5 1/2 years the paintwork is still intact as the film has absorbed the few 'contacts' that have occurred over the years.

It was indeed.  If there is one for yours then have a butchers at Realoem and find it there then give the part number to local Parts Dept.  Half of the parts folks couldn't find it for looking!
