It's OK but I would imagine that at that cost it's going to be very cheaply made and i'm not sure i'd trust it with my X5 ..... a fiesta no worries but probably not much more

I'd steer clear......

If all you want to do is change wheels, then it might just be ok.  I certainly wouldn't get underneath the car using those stands and jack.

1) I'd suggest heavier duty axel stands - not sure what the e53 is, but e70 is over 2 tonnes (I realise your only lifting front or back, but i'd not be comfortable with them). Try machine mart 6 tonne ones: https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/cax-6tbc-6-ton-axle-stands/

2) The trolley jack, may not reach the central (back) jacking point if you need to jack both corners up at the same time. (this is form very recent experience on an e70)
- I bought a  cheap trolley jack and it's awful (despite being a well recommended one) - very difficult to control decent and doesn't inspire confidence.  I'm currently looking for something a little better.

IMHO - invest in reasonable quality stuff to start with and buy once!

*i'm by no means an expert, so if someone who has far more experience comes along with advice, then i'd listen to that.

Will look more into the machine mart route. Thank you
