Washer Jets

Post by Alan Gunn » Wed Feb 15, 2017 10:29 am

Does anybody know how to adjust the washer jets on a e53 x5
Mine have a good pressure spray but could do with it being a bit higher up the screen.
I did have a look at them armed with a sewing needle but not like the old ones with a ball type and a pin hole in them.

Hi

I was about to say the ball and socket and adjust it with a needle.

I've had a look at realoem but that just shows the nozzle as a complete unit, which looking at it apppears to be just clipped into position on the scuttle. Is it still worth checking they aren't blocked with a build up of deposits.

Poss X5Sport might know.

Thanks for the reply.
As i said i get a good blast of water out of them but low on the screen at speed.
Only just filled the bottle up but when it is empty i will take it all apart and give it a good clean out inc pump filters.
