HI all,
In addition to the turbo questions (started other thread) I was adjusting the headlights for coming home (the toggle switch that moves depending on what side of road your on) and 1 of them (our uk nearside) has popped off or something. I moved it and it felt like it fell off. Other side was fine, and the nearside was fine adjusting for way out, but given such a small window, I can't really see what's gone on.
Anyone have experience of this? And any ideas if a fix is possible and how? Full headlight dissembling or an easy one with zenon cover off etc?
Keen to not buy a new headlight if not needed, but, also keen to ensure that the angle isn't screwed up and potentially blinding UK drivers etc.
Thanks, Upex

Take the car to an MOT station, or to a garage that has a beam tester,
xenon lights on BMW's tend to have a very flat beam, so the difference when you switch them over isn't great.
Also you will see if it's going to fail the next MOT, and if it's outside the range, at least give you time to sort it out before your next MOT.
On my E60 there was a lever on the 3 series you need a screwdriver to alter them.
It's not clear how to unless you look on YouTube
Try YouTube to see if you can switch them another way.

That's a good shout, least know if I can use as is whilst investigating a fix. Cheers
