KEY

Post by henrym3 » Thu Feb 23, 2017 7:09 pm

Got my new key today, it's taken 23 days from claim to delivery by the AA. The key care policy is with Halifax £10 per year. Just got my renewal for another year £7, can't complain about that. The AA man coded it on the driveway

Good point, when I originally phoned up they said that if their locksmith (the AA) couldn't make a key I would have to go to BMW and buy a key and send them the bill. This would have been the best idea as I would have had a key within 3/4 days but they got the AA involved, they gave BMW the wrong address to send it to, ie their address, how do you get that wrong. Anyway a comedy of errors meant it took 23 days. If my vehicle goes missing I'll know the AA man took it??

lost it at Tesco, doh. My son nipped to our house and got the spare, so wasn't vastly inconvenienced.
