couple of questions from new boy

Just running through a few things, took the rear seat out to clean. i just cannot get the base to force down onto the metal clamps,  like a rounded hump that engage with the hole on the seat. im 17 stone and jumped squashed bashed, no way will it lock into place.  any ideas welcome

no. 2,  the last owner for some reason has had the seat belt reminders unplugged, i checked on the software and it said, buckles unplugged,  have searched under seats everywhere in area,  anyone know where the connectors are located,  i just forget things like belts  so need to get them working if possible
