The memory for the drivers seat has not worked since i got the car last December nor the steering wheel adjustment.
I have just got a secondhand module so want to change them over.
My question is do i have to disconnect the battery first.

I will answer my own question just in case it helps somebody else in the future.
Did some googling and found one guy that just changed his without disconnecting the battery.
So i did the job and now have all the functions including the steering wheel and seat memory oh and the mirrors are set to the seat position memory as well.
