My car 2005 model came equipped with TCU phone Bluetooth and Nav... but I do not have th VR function unlike my former e46 M3 which I retrofit with ULF that came with VR

Look at Realoem to see if there is a retrofit kit available 
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
