Subframe Bushes

Post by A Blair » Sun Apr 29, 2018 3:40 pm

When I bought the car the handling was very entertaining in a bad way. Slowly all the rear bushing was replaced. Two or three month ago i had the four wheel alignment carried out on a Hunter machine and renewed the inner and outer tie rod ends. With each new mod confidence in the car grew. This week saw the subframe bushes replaced and this made a big difference.  Car drives exceptionally well.  Big smile as you drive. I paid to get it done as I do not have the special tool. Most of the subframe bushes had cracks with one obviously not going to last much longer. The car now feels as if it knows no limits on the bends.
