As far as I know you will have air front and rear as only the 4.6is had air at the rear, can't help you with lowering, apart from saying have a look on the American website xoutpost there are a couple I have seen on there recently.

I thought the E70 only had air suspension (self levelling) in the rear.

From all accounts it doesnt... I can buy Eibach lowering springs for 150 without self leveling, and 250 with. So there must be an option. Who knows, finding information out about this car has not been easy from start to finish. Im beginning to wonder how long im going keep it for.

hi have lowered my e70 x5 h and r springs up front and lowering links from a company in the states :-) lowered it by around 2" all round. SOme people inn the states even chop a coil of the H and R springs but thats 2 low and just really messes up the ride (harsh and bouncy) but looks cool!

I had my 4.8is lowered all round E53 (it has air all round) I helped www.lowermyairride.co.uk with testing theses out great bunch of guys

you can also lower air suspension without the links, you can do the sam the links fool the level sensor into thinking it is higher than it is but with inpa/ bmw 1.4.0 etc you can re calibate the zero point on the level sensor +/- th amout you want to lower / heighten to lower it, i did mine -30mm at the rear and -40mm from with lowering springs
