x6 wheels on e53

hi got the chance of a brand new set of X6 wheels will they fit the E53 , as I had a set of E70 alloys on with 20mm eibach spacers on ?
which model do I need to fit straight on without spacers ?

They'll fit straight on - Raj has them on his.

Is there no problem with the bores then? I know the X6 rears have a smaller bore which causes issues on the E70, but I take it that isn't a problem on the E53?

For the E53 you will need spigot rings to fit. Rears aren't a problem. Basically the X6 runs a slightly larger bore than the E53 up front but the same at the rear. Think from memory X6 is 74.1/72.6 bore front/rear, E70 is 74.1 all round and E53 is 72.6 all round.

I'm running X6 rimmage on my 4.8is.

Put them on then it went straight into Bal for ICE install.

Oh and not sure if you've had any luck with the LED bulbs but will check the sizes for you tomorrow with Hidesh @ CPD.

hi thanks for the feed back , bought the wheels but after looking on various websites the et on the rear wheels are et21 not et48 that have been advised as they are only 19" no 258 will they still fit ?
What size & et are the ones that you have fitted ?

They will still fit even with et21. Mine are style 259's which are 11x20 et37. I initially ran a 20mm spacer with that too bringing it to et17.

Your style 258's are only 10x19 so an inch less in width but a more aggressive offset to give roughly the same outside position of the alloy as mine.

You'll be fine with them.

Hi decided to keep the wheels but have some E70 style 213 alloys for sale tyres on the limit £500 & some copy 21" wheels bmw no tyres £500 ? if you send me your email address I will send photos .
