Unusual angel eyes

Hi all, Just purchased a 2001 X5 4.4, very impressed, except with the spare part prices....

Any way, BIG hi to everyone and my first (of many posts i hope) is about Angel Eyes, However brfore i look for the correct upgrade option, i need to know what type i already have. Looking from outside they look patchy and dull and when i looked inside i found a line of bulbs placed every 60 deg or so, a method i have not seen before. i may add the light units were replaced last year and i think the ones removed did not have angel eyes. The bill for it was £850 for both. And for this it got unusual Ang/Eye

Obviously i want to have Whiter/Brighter angel eyes but cant find a path without knowing the existing ones.

The new ones have auto adjust HIDs.

your lights are identical to mine and they can be changed to leds no problem at all i think they are a t5 model bulb ( cant quite remember will check now )

yep t5 around £3 to do the lot
