Just thought I would upload photos of worn bushes recently replaced, look pretty bad to me, cant buy them seperately so new arm fitted

These can be bought seperately i bought and replaced mine last week.

Just to add if you do have the 'clunk' noise when pulling away this may well be the culprit and once changed it makes a hell of a difference to the car :D

The individual bush in the pic can be got separately (no2 in realoem) but not the two left in the arm that's from 2 dealers and it's not on the oem site either. Was a warranty job anyway thank god as arm was over £300

That was for one arm (passenger side) which includes both bushes in but not the no2 in the parts diagram i.e. the two bushes and arm are one part on realoem its:

I'd want the pair doing at the same time, both sides will be worn. Your new bushes will have a premature life if there helping to take up the slack from the other side

I said the same to the Indy who fitted it and he said the other side was perfect. He also said he works on quite a few x5's and has never seen another one wear out the arm bushes

I stand corrected :thumbsup: i didn't know about the others i just presumed they would be replaceable like number 2

Handling wise no difference no clunks just a little annoying squeak like an old matteress over every little bump
