Car insurance renewal

Post by graemeX5 » Sun Jun 03, 2012 3:32 pm

As well as the X5 4.4 which I like loads I recently traded in my smart barbus roadster coupe for an audi TT mk1 roadster 3.2 as I was having probs getting out of the coupe and it's an auto.

Well swopped over insurance for two month and only 50.00. Well yesterday got renewal from Aviva and it was 662 with 1yrs ncb inc buisiness use (because the X5 has the 9 yrs and my smart for two wory car has the other intro bonus).

With a quick call to aviva dropping business use price dropped down to 522, not too bad, but after a bit of Internet surfing - go compare came up with 437 with lower excess and same courtesy car windscreen and legal cover.

What a result a poss saving 224, but being fair to aviva I went back to them and their price of 522 was their best so have gone with LV Select at 437.

Moral of story definitely shopping around all done in under an hour and no shoe leather used. :driving:
