3.0d M57N Coolant Change
Morning folks. It's time to renew the coolant on my X5. Now plainly I can drain the rad easy enough but that only gets a certain amount of fluid out. Are there any other drain points to get as much of the old coolant out as possible? Is there any defined flushing procedure to flush old coolant out? And is there a defined fill and bleed procedure? On other vehicles I often fill with water, run to temperature, cool down and dump the fluid (repeated a few times) to wash all the old coolant out. Any advice gratefully received.
