Come on then - Let's try to sort a Meet out

Well, let's be having ya then.

I've met a couple of peeps off here but would be good to meet more guys/gals and put faces to names/usernames.

I'm in Wolverhampton (so nice and central) and was thinking possible dates could be (to allow passes to be obtained...lol):

- Saturday 28th July
- Saturday 4th August
- Saturday 11th August

I was thinking for those travelling a distance or just fancy making an evening of it, then there is a Premier Inn just off J2 of the M54 Premier Inn Wolves North with a nice TableTable restaurant right next door Moseley Park Restaurant.

Could meet at about 3pm (so not too much of a rush, etc) at Moseley Park for a chat and maybe a drink (and to book in if staying overnight), then I could look to organise something like Bowling or Karting for a bit of fun. Evening meal/drinks back at Moseley Park.

I know this isn't going to be as cheap as 5hep's Bristol meets but I could try to see if there are any discounts on group bookings for accomodation or food.

Anyway, let's see if there is any interest and we can take it from there.

28th - Bit more tricky
4th - Busy
11th - Best for me

Would be up for karting / bowling and possible overnight, price depending

Where are you thinking of the Meet itself then? The Premier Inn CP or Moseley Park?

Later Aug date would be better for me too. It's a couple of hours from here I guess...

Updated. SWMBO will let me have a Pass as long as she's invited too.....and BOTH August dates are possible now.

But what date can you make X5Sport? If you're allowed to drive for that long?

I'm committing to 4th August if no kids activities take precedence at short notice.

Pass Control says 4th Aug is good...

Nothing in the diary yet. And I would not be driving the whole way as the 'co-pilot' coming too. Just done 100 miles today from Cardigan (West Wales) to Lee Delamere Services on the M4, and handed over control for the rest. By August things should be a lot better. Obviously for me Karting is out though... :cry1: as I have to avoid 'rapid acceleration forces in any direction!'
