battery/circuit testing - how to ...?

As I read the various posts (including my own) about battery drain, circuit testing etc and the suggestions of checking voltages and draw and so on, I'd like to be able to do it myself. A while back I was given the meter below but havent a clue - had a look on the internet but didnt find anythignnrelative to the collection of settings and so on shown on my meter

Can anyone give me a quick how to based on the meter shown in the image below please (hope it is clear!)
