2012 X3 3.0D X Drive

Hi,
New to this forum and just got a 6month old 3.0D X Drive 

How do you switch off the sat nav when you're travelling (only seem to be able to 'end guidance' once you have stopped and switched off ignition). Then when you start back up you can then click on 'end guidance' but can't seem to do that when on the move?

Just spotted this.

If it's anything like mine in the X6 you click on the spoken instructions icon and deselect it.
