In the quest to finish the X off back to a hight standard (paint refresh now complete), I want to turn my attention to the bumpers.
All the X5's have the black textured bumper finish and only on the front offside corner do I have what looks like a more shiny finish to the bumper texture. Like the top coat has worn away.
Do you know how to best bring this back to factory original and most importantly match what's already there?
So far all I've seen is this. Is it any good, worth using or will it never match (texture or colour wise).
Intend to speak to the bodyshop but just wondered if there was a DIY alternative.

Re: Textured Paint (for E53 bumper finish)
i used something similar to that on my old x5 front bumper was about £6 from motor factors so similar, brought the front bumper up so good i had to buy another 4 cans to do the rest!! no idea on how long it lasted as i sold it around 1 month after
