Anyone fitted these exhaust tips ?

Post by mikem » Sun Jan 27, 2013 5:29 pm

As title, anyone tried these ? Have searched all the threads on here and theres a few that have welded dummy ends onto the diesel pipes but these slide over and clamp on, allowing the soot to still fire at the ground.

I`m just a bit concerend about how central they`ll sit, how well they`ll fill the cut outs and how visible the existing pipes are.

No these won't work on the diesels (if that's what you have).

They are for the 3.0 litre petrol versions only where the exhaust is already coming out of the bumper and not sitting below and under it (like the diesels).

The petrols 3.0 litres have the single downward pointing pipes for which these are ideal (if not a bit pricey).

Thanks Sanj, I was just looking at pics of the OEM back boxes (it`s too wet to crawl under mine) and decided the same thing.

There`s a UK seller doing them for £85 delivered and he`s adament they fit the 3.0d but thats impossible as the outlets are fixed to the edges of the cans rather than central like the 3.0i.

`Wonder how many he`s sold that`ll need returning.  :P

As above they won't work,

In response to the pm, mine are welded on dummys,  the best way forward is to either get someone\ somewhere to either weld some dummys on or get a stainless system made with them piped in so they work
