Lowered

Post by B5tew » Thu Mar 14, 2013 6:45 pm

Thanks to Shadrack and the guys at Airride lowering I have now lowered my car
I have been planning on doing it for ages and then Shadrack had a pair of springs for sale and I bought adjustable links for the rearImageBefore
Imageafter
It will probably settle a bit more over the next couple of days but I am really pleased with the result and SWMBO can get in and out now without the aid of a caravan step ;-)

Nice touch. Think you'll find it won't go down any further as the springs would have already settled when they were used previously.

I would drop the rear just a touch more.

[/quote]Thats is what I am going to do but will wait until the weekend it has already settled a bit from when they were fitted. I had a drive around the block to let it find its level and the back and front looked the same but now I have drove back to work and then home the front has settled and it looks a bit high on the back

Is it OK if I park next to you at the Cosford meet I don't want to make your car look like a monster truck ;-)
