oh lol, it will be for something thats an option, i think there is one standard loom fitted to all cars so the wiring is there to add/remove options at will, is the first pic maybe to plug a mp3 player or something altho wouldnt know as im not into ipods etc

I think it is something like that, but dont understand what tho as the green lead goes into rca leads that go into 1 lead then disappear under the dome metal centre. I dont think there is a amp under there is there???

might not be amp wiring as it goes into one, under the metal dome is the battery and all the units for the tv etc as well

1)

3.5mm jack and the RCA lead looks like its being used as an audio input to the headunit (av channel on the TV module). Plug it into your iPhone. **Just a possibility/thought**

2)

Air lines for the rear suspension.

3)

Blue plug is for the rear switch for electric reclining motors for rear seats.

The E53 is pre-wired for every option it seems.

so if i plug an iphone in it should show up in av channel. What about if i plug an hd and media drive into it?
i just think its an odd place to have an input lead thats all.

I think so.

Agreed its an odd place, hence why a thought and possibility as opposed to complete certainty. Just the only thing I can think of its use for. It's certainly an audio connection for sure.
