Tyre Pressure Monitor

Post by DougieV8 » Tue Apr 16, 2013 10:34 am

My X5 does not have this function, therefore a few questions -

Is this control part of general dashboard readout?
Will the function be there to be turned on if via code?
Anyone tried this?

I bought a set of X6 wheels last year which have runflats so I assume the related sensors. I run my X5 on lpg so have no spare - I regularly check pressures but a TPMS would be a bonus if easy sort?

X6 has no sensors on the wheels.  It uses the ABS system to check for rolling speed changes caused by pressure differential.

Ok Richard - thanks for that.

Question still stands though as to whether my X5 has possibility to code in TPMS?
