Euro Road Trip WW2 Theme ! Help Please

I've got some  business to do near Lake Geneva & need some help in planning & places to see. I have to be in Morges, Switzerland on 18th or 19th May. Getting the ferry from Hull - Zebrugge overnight Thurs 16 or Fri 17.

Then drive Zeebrugge to Morges in Switzerland 481 miles. (I'm looking for WW1 / WW2 places of interest)  Any ideas where to stop & sight see on the way? Easy to do that mileage in a day but might as well stop 350 miles or so away from Morges. The route is all France.

Leave Morges & head over to Poland as I want to go to Auschwitz Concentration Camp Museum/Memorial.  (871 Miles) The route takes you either  through Austria, Slovakia & into Poland or through Germany & bypasses Czech Rep, but could always drive through Czech Rep or Austria & Slovakia.... Any recommendations on places to see?

The drive through Germany passes through Nuremburg, Dresden, into Poland... Warsaw. Krakow.... Auschwitz.

Leave Auschwitz Poland & head West towards Berlin & I'll decide the rest of the stops offs from there.

Any help appreciated....  it'll be a good drive in the 40D!
