Led marker looking yellow when hid headlights are turned on

Hi guys,

Hope someone may be able to tell me why this happens but i purchased some led markers to go with my 6000k hid kit. The bulbs cost about £50 and are the 10w bulbs. They look white/blue when they are switched on by themselves but as soon as i switch the headlights on, they look a dull yellow colour. My friend has the same bulbs in his 7 series and he does not have this problem. I had the same issue with other 3w bulbs so i know the bulbs are not the issue.

Could be that the colour temp of your led markers is around 5000K, which is more yellow and will be highlighted by the blue 6000K HIDs.  Normal HIDs are 4,300-4,600K
