Excellent news Jamie. Really pleased all went well and result soooo pleasing. I may consider when my car is out of warranty but only to see if mpg can be improved as the car is easily fast enough as is.

I had mine done at Jason's after I bought it .
It improved MPG from 26/27 in town to 28/30 , and on a run at steady 150kmh with cruise on i've
seen just over 40 , although normally it's around 38 ish .

Had it rolling roaded last year 272 PS / 525 NM  8)

Tbh to feel a pull at 80mph your going to need a few more horses, its best part if 2.5 tonne and only 230bhp or so.
18 ish round town would seem about right, but depends what exactly you mean about round town.
London Town would be less mpg then a less populated town, also bare in mind diesels don't like could, IE take longer to reach normal operating temperature so town driving and cold weather will effect mpg.
I think my old 530d lost 3-5 mpg when the cold weather came.

Im calculating about 280bhp if it supposed to be increased 30% taking in mind standard is about 218bhp. Also find sometimes when kicking down at about 40 mph you feel a pull and sometimes you dont!! MPG can understand now as my wife drives it to work which is about 10-15 min away so prob doesnt get warmed up fully.

It won't be 280 with just the map. My old E46 330d was running near 280ish (same engine) but had full Milltek exhaust, custom intercooler, air intake, remap, etc. that pulled but then weighed far less.

Should still pull really well though (as you've mentioned).
